Pesabazaar Insurance Comparison Portal

Pesabazaar.com, a Kenyan insurance comparison portal, was the first in the market to allow Kenyans to search, compare and purchase different insurance products. The portal focused on automating the process for car insurance, health insurance, travel insurance, and golf insurance, which were the most popular products that could be offered with minimal human contact.

To achieve this automation, we implemented a number of technological solutions. First, we developed a user-friendly platform that allowed users to easily search and compare different insurance products. This platform included detailed information about each product, including coverage options, exclusions, and pricing.

To further streamline the process, we also implemented an online purchase system that allowed users to easily purchase insurance policies directly from the platform. This system allowed users to receive their insurance stickers and/or policies within less than 2 hours if they were located in Nairobi, significantly reducing the time it took to secure insurance coverage.

In addition to automating the insurance purchase process, we developed a customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage leads that did not complete the online purchase process. This system allowed the team to follow up with these leads and provide additional support and guidance to help them complete their purchases.

Finally, we also incorporated a claim management system to streamline the process of filing and managing insurance claims. This system allowed users to easily file claims and track the status of their claims in real-time, ensuring that the process was as efficient and stress-free as possible.

Overall, the development of the insurance comparison portal at Pesabazaar.com has allowed the brand to insure assets worth millions of dollars and provide Kenyans with a convenient and efficient way to digitally access insurance coverage.
